I never thought Ukraine would be Easy….
(like Putin did, but my goals were somewhat more humble)
I am spending the week in Ukraine with no clear point of return, although I have a train ticket to Poland for next Wednesday that I probably won’t use. This is the third article about this trip so far, with more to come.
As expected, the money problems sorted themselves out. It was all very simple. All it required was two different VPNs, four phone apps on two different phones, three telephone numbers in three different countries, two phone calls, six text messages, two chats with a rather stupid AI and one with a very helpful human, multiple attempts, three banks, five bank tellers, and about three hours. That’s all it took for me to withdraw money from my own bank account. Easy peasy.
